I’m somewhat amazed by the psychic detective shows, myself. Some of the ideas they bring out are very generalized, but a few of those crime scene psychics some are amazingly accurate on multiple occasions.
I agree that psycics are typically nut jobs, but admit some amazement at a few of them. They may just be subconciously observant of miniscule clues. IDK
Of course also I’m amazed by David Copperfield even while knowing magic is “fake”
me, I don’t go for psychics, ESP, the human (or animal) soul, afterlife, nothing of the sort. It’s all bunk, wishful thinking and sublimated fear of death. Like, um, religion
